Look at the following examples of supposed to in past time questions.
Were we supposed to do exercise 11?
Weren't we supposed to study page 13? (Always use contractions in negative questions in the past.)
What time was the electrician supposed to come?
Instructions. Use supposed to and the verb in the parenthesis to complete the questions in past time.
Example:
A: (read) Were we supposed to read chapter 12?
B: Yes, we were.

A: (negative-call) Weren't you supposed to call Fred today?
B: Oh that's right. Thanks for reminding me.
