Ex. 2-Supposed to: present time-negative sentences

Instructions. Use be+not+supposed to+the verb in parenthesis to complete the sentence. Make negative sentences.
Example:
(not talk) You are not supposed to talk during a test.

Explanation

1) Supposed to in negative sentences can refer to something that is not expected.

It is not supposed to be cloudy today.
The test is not supposed to take long. It will only be about 45 minutes.

2) Supposed to in negative sentences can also mean prohibition.

You're not supposed to drive without a seatbelt on.
You're not supposed to make copies without paying for them.
