Instructions: Type a sentence using the cue words.
Helen ... beautiful ... Alice.
Helen is more beautiful than Alice.

More + adjective

To form the comparative of adjectives of two or more syllables (with the exception of those ending in Y, R, W, and LE), we put more before the adjective.
Examples: basic-more basic, direct-more direct, harmful-more harmful, selfish-more selfish, intelligent-more intelligent, beautiful-more beautiful.

Bob is more intelligent than Harry.
This route is more direct than the other one.
