1) Because is followed by a clause (verb and subject). I couldn't go fishing last Saturday because I had to work.
2) Since is followed by a clause. We don't need to clean the kitchen today since we cleaned it two days ago.
3) Because of is followed by a noun phrase. The flight was delayed because of severe weather.
4) Due to is followed by a noun phrase. I got home late due to a flight delay.
Use a comma when the clause is at the beginning of the sentence.
